We’re seeking an ambitious, multi-talented entry-level studio designer to work primarily on sports projects. You'll provide support to the creative department in adapting, revising, and modifying various files & outputs, while collaborating with all parts of the shop. It includes picking up projects at various points in the process and seeing the creative vision out through to the finish line.

Responsibilities

Working fluidly on projects spanning motion, web, print, social, identity & spatial
Act as a hybrid studio designer / art director
Pick up and run with the creative vision and see it through to the end
Light to medium image retouching
Managing & catalogue project files & assets
Onsite and Remote
Collaborate with & report to the Studio Director, day to day

Technical Skills

A critical eye for layout, colour, and typography
Strong with core Adobe Creative Suite (PS, ID, AI)
Motion graphic experience (After Effects preferred)
Experience with Keynote and/or Powerpoint

Nice to have (or eager to learn)

Experience with Cinema 4D or CGI creation
Experience with Adobe XD
Display ad development (via Animate CC, Google Web Designer or other)
Site template platform familiarity (Wix, SquareSpace etc)
Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

A fan of major sports like football (both kinds), hockey, basketball and baseball
Great at working autonomously or collaboratively
Able to manage several concurrent projects without missing a beat
Willing to learn new skillsets & software
Open to feedback & direction (to make your/the work stronger)
Obsessed with details and highly organized
Up to date with new industry standards and tools
