Site Review: wefeelfine.org

Steve added this on January 22, 2010

Wefeelfine.org harvests (their word, not mine) human feelings from a large number of weblogs. Every few minutes, the system searches the world’s newly posted blog entries for occurrences of the phrases “I feel” and “I am feeling”. When it finds such a phrase, it records the full sentence, up to the period, and identifies the “feeling” expressed in that sentence (e.g. sad, happy, depressed, etc.). Nice marriage of technology and people for some useful/entertaining results.

Where’s the Beach? Contest

TargetVacations.ca is a small fish in a big sea of online travel companies. They don’t have the marketing dollars for national broadcast or print campaigns. However, they do have a distinct brand personality and an early-adopting President – the perfect combination for a social media campaign.
