The Young Guns Go Viral
To generate a buzz for the OneMethod-designed AmirJohnson.com , we decided to create and distribute a viral video. We set up a dunk off between the Young Guns, filmed and edited it in record time, and then activated a teaser campaign that on its own was driving big numbers.
Within the first hour of its release, votes, hits, and comments flooded in. And as of now, the video has received 60,000 views, 600+ comments and 125,000 votes just four days after its launch. The campaign also landed the video on several blogs, message boards, Raptors.com and Sportsnet. Further, hundreds of people tweeted about the dunk off and each of the three participants gained several new followers.
