OneMethod Inc. Digital + Design is looking for a rare mix of design fluency and technical acumen in this
director level position. You’ll contribute to projects from end to end, working with our talented team of
designers and developers to add a new dimension to our pitches, concepts and finished products.
You’ll also lead and inspire our dev team; we’re not looking for Linus Torvalds but you should know
about best practices and shouldn’t stare blankly if GIT, OOP and MVC are mentioned.

This dare-to-be-great situation requires you to be a leader who can see beyond the immediate problem
and bring more than just the latest and greatest tech trends to the table. Knowing current industry
trends and techniques is expected, but so is understanding when to use them, avoid them or turn them
on their head to do something totally different. Also, you gotta have heart – commitment to making
something you’re proud of isn’t optional. While we all focus on our strengths, nobody here says, “That
ain’t my job.”

Areas of Responsibility:

• Collaborate with the Account/PM team to manage resources, deliverables and timelines
• Be an active participant in pitches from conception to presentation
• Understanding our clients business and providing technical solutions that deliver results
• Sharing your strong grasp of digital trends and best practices with the firm as a whole
• Managing all outside web development partners and freelancers
• All aspects of Information Architecture

Required Skills and Experience:

• You don’t need to be a full-on developer but you should be able to actually make stuff
• Uncompromising standards
• Great communication skills and writing are a big plus
• Knowing that social media strategy means more than a fan page and a good Klout score
• Bad-ass portfolio showing how you think technology should be used
• Strong business and marketing understanding
