Quiznos’ Buckin’ Sub
Quiznos USA wanted to create a Facebook experience to promote their Black Angus sandwich and reward current community members while enticing new ones. Our solution: an angry Buckin’ Sub in serious need of taming. We should note that we also suggested Subbing, you know, Planking’s more ridiculously random cousin – but that ended up as a one-off.
The Buckin’ Sub however, came to life as a full blown campaign and engaged thousands of digital cowboys and girls. The game concept itself was fairly simple: ride the Buckin’ Sub for more than 8 seconds and get a coupon. Where this campaign truly stood out was through it’s unique feel and design. Oh, and the results were fairly amazing as well.
In the first 8 weeks, the Buckin’ Sub saw:
- 25,000 new ‘likes’
- 300,000 impressions
