Bensimon Byrne enhances digital strength with acquisition of OneMethod
OneMethod to act as an independent creative incubator for new technology applications
TORONTO – February 27 2012 – Bensimon Byrne has acquired Toronto-based digital agency, OneMethod. The investment will pair Bensimon Byrne’s legacy of strategic and creative excellence with OneMethod’s more experimental digital work, accelerating a shared vision to provide innovative brand building solutions.
Bensimon Byrne and its digital division, Mighty and PR division, Narrative, operate in a completely integrated manner, enabling the agency to create marketing campaigns utilizing web, mass, social, mobile and PR. However, as technology evolves, it is equally important to create entirely new ways to connect with consumers. Together, Bensimon Byrne and OneMethod will expand the ‘creative incubator’ portion of OneMethod’s business to enable greater experimentation and innovation.

Launched in 2001 by founder and Chief Creative Officer Amin Todai, OneMethod has become known for its work in the digital space of social, mobile, content, web and most importantly an array of original and unexpected solutions that are garnering attention across the globe. OneMethod will remain in its current location and continue to operate independently, and the two organizations will collaborate whenever it benefits clients. As a result of the acquisition, Amin Todai will become a partner in Bensimon Byrne, and Managing Director of OneMethod.

OneMethod also specializes in athlete branding and has provided services to NBA players Chris Bosh, Steve Nash, and Amir Johnson, and to MLB player Nick Swisher. They are also first-to-market leaders in unexpected projects like La Carnita, a pop-up restaurant and social media experiment combining tacos and art.
